Becky Routh and Melody of Augusta, Adeline Bernhardt, and Leona Kleiber had dinner out Aug. 14. Then they, along with other relatives and friends, attended a baby shower in honor of Amanda Baxa of Wichita at the home of Dale and Andrea Klenda, Eli and Evan. Andrea was the hostess honoring her sister Amanda. Special guests included Amanda’s mother, mother-in-law and grandmother, Peggy Kleiber of Salina, Jane Baxa of Cuba, and Leona Kleiber. The group played games, were served refreshments, and watched Amanda open her gifts.
Melissa Stuchlik, Tanner and Allie were morning visitors of Leona Kleiber on Aug. 17.
Tom and Dee Duggan took Kaylee Hall and Calynn Hartman of Herington to Salina on Aug. 17 for school shopping and a movie.
Lisa Hanschu visited her father, Frank Stika, on Aug. 17, while Anna Mae Stika and Lori Moldenhauer were serving supper at the farmer’s market.
Tom and Dee Duggan went to a meeting Aug. 15 in Marion for the purpose of planning the annual meeting of the Marion County Senior Citizens.
