Fourteen motorcycles converged on Tampa June 23. The riders were members of a group called ROMEOs, Retired Old Motorcyclists Eating Out. The group has around 400 members from all over the state. Members present were Richard and Joyce Kurtz of Lindsborg; Dale Dedrick of McPherson; Larry Collicott, Reggie Irving, E.L. Witt, Bob Harris, Joe Wesley, Terry Powell, Loretta Flynn, Dale Flynn, Pat Doherty, and Leonard Williams of Salina; Dennis Gowing of Lecompton; and Gary Houser of Abilene.

Carl and Kathy Hubbard of Wellington visited her mother, Adeline Bernhardt, June 22 en route to Atchison. The Hubbards stopped again June 23 on their way home.

Wayne and Shannon Rziha of Tulsa, Okla., came June 23 to take their children Cecilia, Anthony, and Daniel home with them. The children had been staying with their grandparents, Jerry and Jeanne Rziha, while their parents were in Houston. Shannon underwent some medical tests.

Virgil and Barbara Gooding of El Dorado and Lucille Kerbs had dinner out June 22 in McPherson.

Both boys baseball teams won against Chase County June 21. The coach pitch team defeated Herington June 22.

Miriam Riddle and Lorraine Havlik had dinner out together June 23.

Supper guests of Lori Moldenhauer June 20 were Nikki Stenzel and her friend Mark of Manhattan and Frank and Anna Mae Stika.

Julie Rziha is teaching Totus Tuus in Wisconsin this summer and occasionally spending time with her sisters and their families, Jim and Diane Herron, Andrew, Peter, Maria, John, and Michael; and Emilio and Janie Aita, Antonio, and Sebastian.

Dinner guests of Russ and Julie Kerbs and Rustyn June 20 were Jesse and Ashton Smith and Sydney of Pilsen and Lucille Kerbs.

Steve and Sheri Spohn, Matt and Sarah Woods, Gary and Carole Spohn, and Georgia Spohn had a cookout June 19.

Frank and Anna Mae Stika, Lori Moldenhauer, and Ronnie and Lisa Hanschu and Anna had dinner June 20.

Leona Kleiber and Adeline Bernhardt went to Relay for Life June 18 in Hillsboro.

Lucille Kerbs went to Abilene June 18 and 19. She helped Connie Thompson, Allison, and Taylor with a garage sale.

Julie Rziha was named to the dean’s honor roll at Benedictine College in Atchison.

Terry and Cindy Vinduska, Daniel and Melissa Stuchlik and Allie, Adeline Bernhardt, and Leona Kleiber attended Tanner Stuchlik’s T-ball game June 23. Afterward the group went to the farmers market.
