Tom and Dee Duggan met Deb Hall and Kaylee of Herington on Nov. 2, and they all attended the St. John’s Lutheran Church’s soup supper in Herington.
Dolores Scott and Bill Remington of Emporia, Pamela Fillmore of Cottonwood Falls, Rebecca and Emily Nottingham of Ozawkie, Debra Dody of Manhattan and Tillie Hein had dinner out Oct. 29 in Abilene. The occasion was an early celebration of Tillie’s 103rd birthday, which was Tuesday.
Halloween supper guests of Frank and Anna Mae Stika were Lori Moldenhauer and Lisa Hanschu and Anna.
Georgia Spohn met Lenora Graham, Paulette Zook and Betty Ireland of Florence on Oct. 31 in Hillsboro for Learning in Retirement at Tabor College and dinner out. Levi Goossen entertained with an imitation of the “Evening Gospel Hour” broadcast over XERF at Del Rio, Texas.
Tom and Dee Duggan attended the production of “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” on Nov. 1 at the Great Plains Theatre in Abilene.
Lucille Kerbs met Tim Kerbs of Salina on Oct. 30 at Elmo and accompanied him to Salina. Others joining them for dinner at the home of Tim and Marchelle Kerbs were Kennith and Pat Pierce and Lori dark of Augusta, Mark and April Reidy, Cierra and Josh of Manhattan, Ray Deiser and Molly Kerbs of Salina. They helped Molly celebrate her birthday with cake and ice cream in the afternoon.
Adeline Bernhardt spent Oct. 21 through 23 at the home of Carl and Kathy Hubbard of Wellington. They joined other relatives at the home of Chris and Dee Anna Stout to help Gabby Stout celebrate her ninth birthday. In the afternoon the group enjoyed ice cream and cupcakes and watched Gabby open her gifts. Barny Bernhardt of Wichita picked up his mother and took her to Oklahoma City, where she had laser back surgery on Oct. 25. Carl and Kathy Hubbard were also there.
Adeline Bernhardt spent Oct. 26 through 30 at the home of Barny and Linda Bernhardt in Wichita.
Lucille Kerbs visited Connie Thompson in Abilene Saturday, and they enjoyed dinner out.
