Many Tampa people attended Thanksgiving church services Nov. 23 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Tampa and First Baptist Church in Durham.

A number of Tampa people attended the funeral service for Lavern Miller Nov. 23 at the Baptist church in Durham. Miller spent most of his life in the Durham area.

Georgia Spohn met Lenora Graham and Paulette Zook of Florence on Nov. 21 in Hillsboro for Learning in Retirement at Tabor College and dinner out. Marilyn Jost presented the Tabor program about Turkey.

Julie Rziha of Atchison arrived Nov. 22 to spend the Thanksgiving weekend with her parents, Jerry and Jeanne Rziha.

Tom Duggan attended a basketball game at Reading Nov. 21 to watch his granddaughter, Kaylee Hall, play.

Ronnie and Lisa Hanschu and Anna Mae Stika attended the production of “Fools” at Centre High School on Nov. 22. Anna Weber was in the cast. Lori Moldenhauer kept Frank Stika company while they were gone. Tom and Dee Duggan were among those attending matinee Nov. 22.

Lucille Kerbs was a dinner guest of Tim and Marchelie Kerbs of Salina on Nov. 20. Other guests were Molly Kerbs and Raymond Deiser.

Gary and Carole Spohn and Georgia Spohn attended the Thanksgiving dinner Sunday at Marion Christian Church.

Tom and Dee Duggan attended the monthly meeting of the Marion County Senior Citizens board Friday in Peabody.

Visitors of Adeline Bemhardt this week included Leona Kleiber, Pastor Clark and Kathy Davis, Don Witt, Donna Bundy and Edna Backhus.

Deb Hall of Herington and Tom and Dee Duggan attended a basketball game Thursday at Strong City to see Kaylee Hall play.
