Tom and Dee Duggan and Jane Vajnar were among those attending the funeral of Glennon Crowther on Dec. 28 in Roxbury. Crowther was a lifelong resident of Marion County’s “north end.”
Nikki Stenzel and Mark Gilford of Manhattan, Greg Stenzel, Betty Stenzel, Ronnie and Lisa Hanschu and Anna, Frank and Anna Mae Stika, and Jeanne Gaza were supper guests of Tom and Lori Moldenhauer on Dec. 27, celebrating Nikki Stenzel’s birthday.
Gary and Carole Spohn went to Nebraska on Dec. 27 and spent Dec. 28 with Ryan and Jamie Spohn, Adam, Lauren, and Luke in Lincoln for a belated Christmas celebration.

Adeline Bernhardt spent Dec. 22 to 25 with Carl and Kathy Hubbard in Wellington. Additional Christmas dinner guests were Donna Hubbard and Chris and Dee Anna Stout and Gabby of Wellington. Barney Bernhardt visited in the afternoon to take his mother to Wichita, where she stayed until Dec. 28 with Barney and Linda Bernhardt. Other family members joined them Christmas evening.
Ryan Spohn, Adam, and Lauren were Dec. 26 overnight guests of his parents, Gary and Carole Spohn. Georgia Spohn was an additional supper guest.
Christmas dinner and supper guests of Frank and Anna Mae Stika were Tom and Lori Moldenhauer and Ronnie and Lisa Hanschu and Anna.
Leona Kleiber welcomed several guests into her home for a carry-in supper on Christmas. Guests were Terry and Cindy Vinduska of Marion, Jill Vinduska of Orlando, Fla., Daniel and Melissa Stuchlik, Tanner, and Allie of Pilsen, Lynn and Peggy Kleiber and Kendra Baumberger of Salina, Nick Kleiber of Concordia, Tim and Amanda Baxa and Sophia of Wichita, Dale and Andrea Klenda, Elijah, and Evan of Pilsen, Dean and Becky Routh and Danielle of Augusta, Melody Routh of Lakeland, Fla., and Allison Routh of Kirkland, Wash. After supper, the group exchanged gifts and visited after dessert. The Routh family were overnight guests and returned home Dec. 26.
Darla Hall of Lee’s Summit, Mo., Adam hall of Springfield, Mo., and Deb Hall and Kaylee of Herington were Christmas weekend guests of Tom and Dee Duggan.

Glenn Kerbs of Dodge City visited Tampa late Dec. 24 and accompanied his mother, Lucille Kerbs, to the church Christmas Eve service. After the program, Russ and Julie Kerbs, Rustyn Kerbs, and Jesse and Ashton Smith and Sydney joined them at Lucille’s home for supper. Glenn was an overnight guest, and he and Lucille ate at a restaurant in Hillsboro before he returned to Dodge City.
Chris and Sharon Magnuson and Elyse and Father Paul Oborny of Wichita, Dan and Kim Oborny, Ethan, and Logan, and Jane Vajnar were Christmas guests of John and Kathy Oborny.
