Sunflower Senior Citizens met for a potluck dinner and meeting July 14 at the Senior Center. Kevin Herbel and his children, Aaron, Danea, Josh, Caleb, Jake, Karina, and Jeremiah, presented a musical performance. Although Calabria is too young to perform with her family, she entertained the group just by being a toddler. Grandparents Willis and Eleanor Herbel were guests. Others present were Jim and Mary Clemmer, Tom and Dee Duggan, Shirley Zaideman, Frank Patton, Leona Kleiber, Adeline Bernhardt, and Jane Vajnar.

Jane Vajnar visited Georgia Spohn July 13.

Lucille Kerbs was a dinner guest July 12 of Russ and Julie Kerbs and Rustyn’s. Ashton Smith and Sydney were afternoon visitors.

Afternoon visitors of Adeline Bernhardt July 12 were Lorraine Havlik of Marion, Mildred Albrecht of Emporia, and Leona Kleiber. They ate dinner out together.

Ryan and Jamie Spohn, Adam and Lauren, Leo and Sue Yanda, Gary and Carole Spohn, and Georgia Spohn ate dinner out July 12.

Connie Thompson and Taylor of Abilene took Lucille Kerbs to Moundridge July 10 for a basketball tournament in which Taylor played.

Leo and Sue Yanda entertained with a cookout July 11 at their home. Guests included Steve and Sheri Spohn, Gary and Carole Spohn, and Georgia Spohn. Jim and Mary Clemmer joined them later in the evening.

Kathy Hubbard of Wellington was an afternoon visitor July 10 of Adeline Bernhardt. Leona Kleiber joined them for dinner out.

Glenn Kerbs of Dodge City was an overnight guest July 7 of his mother, Lucille Kerbs. They went to Topeka for the funeral of Ronnie Gooding July 8 at Faith Lutheran Church, followed by a lunch. Ronnie was the son of Al and Lila Gooding. Connie Thompson brought Lucille home.
