Tim and Machelle Kerbs of Salina were visitors of his mother April 5, in the afternoon, for supper, and in the evening.

Adeline Bernhardt and Leona Kleiber enjoyed lunch out Monday in Salina.

Georgia Spohn met Lenora Graham of Florence Monday in Hillsboro. They attended a Learning in Retirement program at Tabor College and enjoyed dinner out. The program, “Spring Serenade,” featured instrumental music accompanied by slides of spring scenes. Performers were Vada Snider, flutist; Karen Laucks, pianist; and Duane Graham, photographer and narrator.

Terry and Cindy Vinduska were hosts of a pre-Easter supper Sunday at their home in Marion. Guests were Captain Anthony and Sara Hanson of Fayetteville, N.C., Jill Tarin of Orlando, Fla., Ron and Tammi Vinduska and Kristi Vinduska of Topeka, Ruby Vinduska of Marion, Daniel and Melissa Stuchlik, Tanner and Allie of Pilsen, and Leona Kleiber.

Lucille Kerbs accompanied Russ and Julie Kerbs and Rustyn Sunday to Pilsen. They were dinner guests of Jesse and Ashton Smith and Sydney.

Lori Moldenhauer and Lisa Hanschu returned home Thursday evening from Los Angeles, Calif., where they had spent several days at a business convention. Marianne Kohman of Hope accompanied them.

Tom and Dee Duggan attended the American Legion’s annual dinner Saturday evening. They also attended the state weightlifting tournament Saturday morning in Marion. They met friends from Tyro, who had a daughter participating.

Glenn Kerbs of Dodge City was an overnight guest Friday of his mother, Lucille Kerbs.

Pastor Clark and Kathy Davis, Joyce Medley, Adeline Bernhardt, and Leona Kleiber went to Salem Home in Hillsboro Thursday afternoon to give a short program. They took cookies to the residents and visited with them.

Mary Clemmer visited Lucille Kerbs the afternoon of April 1.

In a recent item about several people taking a train ride from Herington to Waldeck, Jim Clemmer’s name was accidentally omitted. Apologies.
