Shirley Bowers transformed her July patriotic teddy bear into an August beach bear, complete with sunglasses and a beach umbrella, to place on the piano.

Commodities arrived Aug. 16. Al Ash and Bill Kaempfe helped bring the food in for Sue Clough and Vickie Kaempfe to box up.

Larry and Thelma Blosser sorted through boxes of table decorations to provide Vickie Kaempfe with monthly thematic items.

The Aulne United Methodist Church birthday bunch celebrated the birthdays of Bill Scriven, Eugene Just, Archie Stenzel, and Don Fruechting on Aug. 16.

President Sue Clough conducted a business meeting on Senior Center Day.

Lydia Gates will play piano Aug. 30.
