Sue Clough recently delivered a vase of homegrown forsythias to patrons, which were Marion Senior Center’s first flowers of spring.
Clough and Barb Bitner, head cook at the senior center, traveled to Manhattan on March 26 for mandatory basic cook training.
Roger Bitner recently brought in some joke books, so patrons have started to intersperse “hillbilly jokes” with April birthday trivia about celebrities.
Ed Riffel recently constructed an outdoor grill for patrons to use this summer.
Dr. Paige Dodson gave a presentation about stress on April 1 at the end of which she led patrons in a guided meditation.
Senior Center Day is April 15 during which Bob Delk and the Boys will give a program.
