March 19 — In response to recent car burglaries, a saturation patrol was performed. A report of a suspicious odor in the 200 block of S. Jefferson St. was investigated.
March 20 — Two dogs were reported stolen in the 300 block of N. Lincoln St. and a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of N. Ash St. were investigated.
March 21 — A report of suspicious activity in the 200 block of S. Birch St., a disturbance complaint in the 300 block of N. Lincoln St., and a dog running free in the 1100 block of S. Adams St. were investigated. Officers assisted in the Newton police officers in an investigation of a recent string of car burglaries in Newton.
March 22— A report of a reckless driver at the fairgrounds and a child custody dispute in the 700 block of S. Lincoln St. were investigated. Further investigation of car burglaries in Hillsboro was performed.
Thursday — A report of suspicious people on Main St. was investigated.
Friday — A report of a suspicious person at Grand and Birch Sts. Was investigated.

March 20 — A report of a theft from a motor vehicle, a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of Coble St., and a non-injury accident in the 300 block of S. Roosevelt were investigated.
March 21— Reports of a prohibited dog breed in the 700 block of S. Coble St., a reckless driver, and children playing in the street in the 100 block of N. Cedar St. causing a traffic hazard were investigated.
March 22 — A report of a dog bite in the 200 block of Miller St. and a complaint of chickens in the 300 block of N. 3rd St. were investigated. Two warnings for no tag light were issued.
Thursday — A possible theft in the 1500 block of Sandstone St. was investigated. A speeding warning near Santa Fe and Main Sts. was issued.
Friday — A disturbance and a report of a person walking a dog without a leash on public property were investigated.
Saturday — A report of two cows on US-56/77 near 230th Rd. and dogs running free in city limits were investigated. A warning for red and blue flashing lights on a vehicle was issued.
Sunday — A speeding warning was issued. Vehicles parked in a no parking zone on N. Cedar St. were investigated; officers spoke with the owners.

March 21 — A burglary that involved items taken from people who were just moving into a house in the 300 block of Elm St. was investigated. An information report for a fire at 201 N. Olive St. was completed.
Thursday — An information report for possible damage to a vehicle was completed, two inoperable motor vehicle nuisance reports were taken for vehicles in the 600 blocks of Maple and Walnut Sts. A civil dispute in the 600 block of Poplar St. was investigated.
