Treva Kellogg

Treva C. Kellogg, 93, of Herington died June 10 at Peabody Care Center. She was born Feb. 18, 1921, in White City to William W. and Rosa (Blum) Adam.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God in Herington and attended Herington Senior Citizens Center while her health permitted.

She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Estey of Florence; a brother, Howard Adam of Garden City; a sister, Rose Marie King of Merriam; eight grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rose Zinn; a son, William “Bill” Kellogg; five brothers, Merle, Kenneth, Dale, Percy, and Harold Adam; two sisters, Lois Kemph and Elva Langhofer; and a granddaughter.

Visitation was at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Herington Chapel. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Lost Springs Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established with First Baptist Church of Herington.
