Philip and Sarahanne Unruh of Hesston announce the birth of their son, Vatiken Bryce Unruh, Feb. 10 at Newton Medical Center.

He weighed 9 pounds, 10 ounces and was 21 inches long.

Steve Rose of Peabody, Nelda Darwin of Herington, and Lewis and Carrie Unruh of Peabody are his grandparents.

Great-grandparents are former Peabody residents Larry and Marietta Rose of Council Grove, Doris Kerchner of Tennessee and the late John Kerchner, Charile and Dora Unruh of Peabody, and Twilia Bleam of Bel Aire and the late Earnest Bleam.
