Velma Bredemeier

Velma A. Bredemeier, 92, of Carrollton, Mo., died Oct. 30, at Life Care Center of Carrollton.

She was born March 2, 1918, in Marion to Amous and Lula (Wisdom) Bogart. She attended Marion High School.

On March 10, 1935, she married Floyd Bredemeier.

She was a cook, waitress, and a homemaker. Velma was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Carrollton.

Her parents; her husband; an infant son, William; two sisters, Frances Bashor and LuVena Hatterman; a brother, Leonard Bogart; and an infant grandson, William Edward Warren.

Survivors include three daughters, Nova Bruner and Beverly Jirak of Marion and Roberta Warren of Carrollton; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Services were Tuesday morning at Bittiker Funeral Home with Ken Randolph officiating.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Marion Cemetery.

The family suggests contributions be made to Life Care Center of Carrollton in care of Bittiker Funeral Home, 1201 N 65 Hwy, Carrollton MO 64633.
