VFW Post 6958 and the Ladies Auxiliary Post 6958 will be presenting awards to the top finishers of the yearly Patriots Pen Program for area middle school participants.

The Fourth District winner, Cade Harms of Lincolnville, went on to place second in the state contest. Other winners were Shelby Felvus, Devin Hamm, and Caleb Hett, all from Marion.

Eagle Scouts Justin Barr and Dylan Goebel will also receive scholarships for completing their Eagle Scout awards.

The public is invited to the awards ceremony and reception taking place at 2 p.m. Sunday at Marion VFW Post 6958, 420 W. Santa Fe, Marion. The Ladies Auxiliary will provide refreshments.
