Victor L. Ensz, 83, of Topeka, died Jan. 21 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka.

He was born June 9, 1927, at Inman, to Abraham “Fred” D. and Margaret (Nikkel) Ensz.

He was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone.

On Aug. 30, 1952, he married Berniece J. Balzer at Hillsboro.

Survivors include his wife, Berniece of Topeka; two daughters, Vicki Schmidt of Topeka and Debbie Mishler of Lawrence; three brothers, Norman and Willis of Hillsboro and Leo of Hot Springs, Ark.; and five grandchildren.

Services were Monday at Hillsboro United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Grant officiating.

Burial was in Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Cemetery.

Memorial funds have been established with KU Alzheimer and Memory Program and Midland Care Hospice Program in care of Jost Funeral Home of Hillsboro.
