Carl and Christine Elling of Denton, Texas, announce the birth of their daughter, Victoria Ruth Elling, at 1 a.m. Nov. 11, 2008.

She weighed 8 pounds 7.5 ounces and was 20½ inches long.

Grandparents are Carl and Pat Elling of Lebanon, Tenn., and Rick and Elaine Arp of Denton, Texas.

Great-grandparents are Harlow and Edith Warneke of Marion.
