Vincent J. Nikkel, 49, of Hillsboro, died Jan. 9 at Hillsboro Community Hospital.

He was born April 14, 1961, in Newton, to Leon D. and Karen (Rodgers) Nikkel.

He was a feedlot manager and a real estate broker.

On Feb. 18, 1989, he married Jessie Jost in Newton.

He was a member of Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jessie, of Hillsboro; two daughters, Jandi and Taylor of Hillsboro; and his parents, Leon and Karen Nikkel of Lehigh.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, with the Rev. Loyal Martin officiating.

Burial will be in Ebenfeld Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.

Contributions may be made to the Children’s Education Fund in care of Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.
