To the editor:

I wanted to share with you a great experience. My friends and I began our weekend with a night at my family cabin at Marion County Lake. On Saturday morning, our day started with a wonderful breakfast at Auntie M’s in Florence. We visited the Doyle Creek Mercantile.

We then traveled to the Copper Shed. We returned to Marion and visited Aunt Bee’s and TC’s What-Not-Shop. Having filled our vehicle with many great buys, we had to unload before going to Hillsboro.

We shopped at Molly’s On Main and purchased the great sausage at Dale’s Supermarket. We ran out of time to visit some places that close early on Saturdays.

Our day ended with great Mexican food at Al’s in Lost Springs.

Marion County should be proud of all of these businesses because everyone was so friendly and helpful.
