Weather-related local school closings resulted in the center being closed two days last week. Seniors are reminded to check school closings on TV so they won’t wonder where their meals on wheels are or why they can’t call for reservations.

A big thank you to the county for spreading sand on our parking lot Feb 8. It made it safer for those coming in and the drivers delivering meals.

Thank you to Jerry Kline for putting salt on sidewalks and in front of the entrance.

Bea Kelsey brought treats for her birthday Feb.1.

Max Ewert provided cowboy poetry Feb. 4, some of which he composed.

The Tuesday Lunch Bunch joined us Feb. 5 for lasagna.
