Wendell and Linda Wedel left Dec. 23 by train, together with Greg and Charlene Wedel and family, and Travis and Connie Becker and family for Albuquerque, New Mexico, where they met Newt and Marie Jantz and Gavin from California for a family Christmas gathering.
They also celebrated recent birthdays of Linda and Greg and honored the upcoming 40th anniversary of Wendell and Linda. They returned home Dec. 29.
Larry and Eileen Schmidt and Kasey of Clarksdale, Mississippi arrived at the home of their parents, Roy and Nadine Davis, on Dec. 24 to spend the holidays with family and friends.
They were joined at the home of their parents for Christmas dinner by Rick and LaVae Koehn and family, Gray and Crystal Davis and Carly, and Riley and Collen Rempel of El Campo, Texas.
Warren and Anita Unruh and family joined Damian and Amy Ratzlaff and family on Christmas evening for supper in the home of Vi Dalke in Hillsboro.
Calvin and Janene Wiebe had Clayton and Betty Wiebe, Harry and Sheryle Rhodes, Mike and Mich Rhodes and family Darrin and Meri Kay Rhodes and family, and Calla Wengar as Christmas guests. Loretta Wiebe joined them for supper after working at the hospital during the day.
Ron and Dora Unruh, Warren and Anita Unruh Kyle and Jenna and Mark Unruh went to Goessel Dec. 26 to join the rest of the Duerksen family at the Goessel Community Building for the Duerksen family gathering. The Marvin Duerksen family were hosts and presented a short program about the miracle of Christmas and piano music after.
Larry and Eileen Schmidt and Kasey were supper guests Dec. 26 in the home of Aryln and Kalynda Wiebe.
Merlin and Karletta Wiebe were hosts of the Lela Wedel Christmas Dec. 22 at the School House.
Bryan and Rebecca Thomas and family and Brian and Angela Unruh and girls were dinner guests Dec. 26 of their grandparents Ransom and Lillian Wiebe.
Lola Redger went to the home of the Ray Redgers for a family Christmas gathering.
Harry and Sheryle Rhodes had their family home on Dec. 27 for dinner and supper to celebrate Christmas together. This included Ken and Shelli Geisbrecht and Taylor, Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family, Darrin and Meri Kay Rhoses and amily, and Mike and Mich Rhodes and family.
Rick and LaVae Koehn and boys were supper guests of Roy and Nadine on Dec. 27 with their house guests Larry and Eileen and Kasey.
