Wencel and Loretta Hill Holub married on Oct. 21, 1952, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Marion.

They have one daughter, Diana Holub of Marion; three sons, James Holub of Spring, Texas, Kenneth Holub of Marion, and Wayne Holub of Abilene; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Wencel has worked as a farmer, welder, machinist, and oil-field worker. He still farms. Loretta has made a career as a housewife.
