Weston Pitts, 78, died Jan. 21, 2012. He was a retired grocer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlisle and Myrtle Pitts; and a sister, Betty Austin.

He is survived by a sister, Carroll Mickelson of Derby; five nieces and nephews; and 16 great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services were Tuesday at Smith Mortuary of Derby. Burial was in Friends Cemetery, Rose Hill. Viewing was Monday.
