William Marston

William K. Marston, 81, of Hillsboro, died March 22 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Wichita.

Born Sept. 3, 1928, in McPherson, to Delbert A. and Ada (Shaw) Marston, he was a farmer.

He married Marlys A. Waln July 20, 1950, in Canton.

A brother, Donald, and two sisters, Betty Williams and Sue Kohlman preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Marlys; two sons, Twig of Norfolk, Neb., and Shad of Canton; two daughters, Belinda Hulsey of Isle of Palms, S.C., and Barbara Dean of LeRoy, Ill.; two brothers, Robert of Canton and Larry of Pratt; a sister, Margaret Beagley of Wilson; 10 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Canton United Methodist Church, Canton.

Interment will be Canton Township Cemetery.

Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. today at Olson’s Mortuary, Canton.
