Retired dairy farmer Willis D. Penner, 84, Hillsboro, died Sunday on the family farm.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Hillsboro First Mennonite Church. A graveside service will be Friday at Haven of Rest Cemetery.

He was born Oct. 12, 1931, to Alvin and Frieda (Rempel) Penner in Hillsboro. He married Ruth Ann Pankratz on May 25, 1956.

Survivors include: wife, Ruth Ann; daughters, Debbie Goossen of Beatrice, Nebraska; Sheree Leppke of McPherson; Tam Perry of Hillsboro; sisters, Kathryn Flickinger of Moundridge; LaVerna Shaw of Hutchinson; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to Agri-Urban or Hillsboro First Mennonite Church.
