Valley United Methodist Church will host a 2013 World Day of Prayer service at 7 p.m. March 1. The theme is: “I was a Stranger and You Welcomed Me.”

The World Day of Prayer is an ecumenical celebration of prayer and prayerful action. The 2013 service begins at sunrise in the Pacific region and, following the earth’s orbit, will spread all around the world.
