Marion County Commissioners will review proposed landscaping at the courthouse at their meeting today. Arborist Gene Bowers and courthouse maintenance man Lee Becker presented the plan. They recommended planting seven trees now. Hardy species such as burr oak would be planted. Cost is about $200 per tree. Another $1,500 would go to replant the north beds with flowers and bushes. Commissioners want to review the budget before making a final decision.
