An annual tradition of the descendants of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Collett to gather for a Memorial Day weekend campout was disrupted by fire early Sunday morning while more than 40 relatives were sleeping in camper trailers and tents. At about 3 a.m., the campers were awakened by a fire in the attic of the old home. The house was completely destroyed by fire, including furniture stored there. Family members say they are fortunate in that there were no injuries, but they mourn the loss of the old home which was so meaningful to them all.
