Obituary

John Noone was born at Ballanruan, County Clare, Ireland, Sept. 10th, 1843, and died at his home seven miles southeast of Tampa, Kansas, March 9, 1907.

He came to the United States in 1870 and lived for the following ten years in Jackson, Michigan, where he was in the employ of the Michigan Central R.R.

In 1879 he was married to Margaret McInerney and the following year they moved to the present home in Marion county. Ten children were born to them, of whom five sons have gone before him. The deceased leaves a wife, one son, Francis, and four daughters, Mrs. R.J. Belton, Norah, Agnes and Alice.

His brother, James Noone, came to this country with him, was with him in Michigan, came to Kansas with him and, at present lives on an adjoining farm.

The sorrowing family have the deepest sympathy of all their friends in this bereavement, made so very sad because it is the third time that Death has entered the family in six months. The oldest son, Tom, died in September and the second son, James, in January.

Mr. Noone has lived an honorable and upright life, true to his faith, his family and his friends, and will be sadly missed.
