The Marion Band

The band has done splendid work and has made fine progress under the efficient direction of Mr. Ross Sheets. So far it has been no expense to the town whatever but it has been an expense to Mr. Sheets. The citizens propose to show their appreciation of the work of the band and of Mr. Sheets' efforts by making up a purse to defray expenses and buy uniforms. A committee will visit you next week to receive your contribution. Stand up for Marion by helping the band.
