Donahue Manufacturing Company, Inc., suffered a $25,000 fire at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in its paint shop at Durham. Painting equipment, other equipment and the building were entirely lost in addition to two forklifts and paint on hand.

Delta Chapter 19, Royal Arch Masons, will present 50-year emblems to Charles Brooker and Arch O'Bryant of Wichita, Wilford Clark Mason of El Dorado, Arthur John Tucker of Los Angeles, Calif., and Charles Niederhauser of Marion Thursday evening in the Masonic Temple.

Rita Jeanne Jirak and Jesse Edward Brunner were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Feb. 5 in Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Tampa.

Irene Morse was surprised and honored Sunday by members of her family who gathered at noon in the Marion City Building for a meal and day of reminiscing and visiting. Miss Morse is retiring from the business world after 47 years as a telephone operator and chief clerk for Greeley Gas Company.

Kathy Bernhardt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Bernhardt, Tampa, was one of several students selected for Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities, who will be honored at banquet Thursday at KSTC, Emporia.

Ronald L. Navrat, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel A. Navrat, rural Marion, has been promoted to sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. Navrat is a communications specialist at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska, in a unit of the U.S. Air Force Security Service.

Owen McCarty's new record, "Another Lonely One," was released last week in Nashville, Tenn., and will soon be heard over local radio stations and coin-operated music machines.
