Miss Deborra Case, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Case Jr. of Marion, will have a unique opportunity to attend and participate in the "Presidential Classroom" project in Washington, D.C., from February. 27 through March 5. Debbi will spend a full week studying government under the tutelage of high ranking government officials in the nation's Capitol.

An attempt by Fish and Game Commission men to transplant some wild antelope from Wallace County to the Flint Hills region has failed. The game biologists had hopes of trapping about 30 animals near Sharon Springs, but the animals were spooked by aerial harassment and scattered. There currently are about 400 antelope in Kansas.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Frans have bought the Burger Shake quick lunch and refreshment business owned by Gerry Harris and Dean Pippin. The new management will take over February 1.

Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Klose of Marion announce the engagement of their daughter, Janel Sue, to Thomas J. Dvorak, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Dvorak of Lincolnville. No wedding date has been set.

Mrs. Albert Ollenberger, Homer Hett, Harold Bowers and Edmond Amick met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hatterman Friday evening to begin plans for a reunion next Old Settlers Day of the 1931 graduating class of Marion High School. Alvin "Pete" Schambron and Mrs. Fritz Richmond also are members of the class, but were unable to attend the meeting.

Anita Hett, a Marion High School graduate and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Hett of Marion is a member of the Southwestern College choir presently making several concert stops across Kansas.
