Dedication of the Chaplain Kapaun Memorial High School at Wichita will occur Sunday with Francis Cardinal Spellman, archbishop of New York, and military ordinary of the armed services blessing the building and campus at 3 p.m. Six soldiers associated with Father Kapaun in Korea are expected at the dedicatory service and are scheduled to speak briefly at the dinner meeting which follows in the evening.

Twenty-eight graduates, an unusually small class, will receive their diplomas May 24 at commencement. Class members are H. Warren Gardner, Elda Marie Pankratz, Mary Lou Conyers, Jon Wayne Thole, Margie Ann Bernhardt, Ernest W. Bratton, William M. Burkholder, Bruce D. Coe, Patricia Ann Dixon, Robert M. Eckstrom, Harold J. Hein, Willard W. Hett, Lowene Faye Hiebert, Maxine Elaine Hinz, Dale R. Johnston, Johnsie B. Just, Franklin A. Leutschaft, Donald K. McCarty, Margaret Ann McClain, Betty June Mathews, John Irvin Minear, Larry Earl Olsen, Joyce Marie Pientka, John Emerson Price, Wade Keith Robertson, Dolores Schafers, Michael Barrett Seaton, and Roland F. Vogel.

Ruth Muck and Jan Rathert entertained about 50 young folks at a party and hi-fi dance Saturday evening at the City Building. Guests were members of the freshman class at Marion High School.

Morning Star School closed on Friday with a basket dinner at noon and a trip to the Glen Cunningham farm southeast of Cedar Point. On Thursday evening the pupils, under the direction of Mrs. Blackim, presented their last day of school program to a small but appreciative audience.

Babies born at St. Luke Hospital during the past week include a daughter, Donita June, born May 3 to Mr. and Mrs. Donald Buethe; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth, born May 3 to Mr. and Mrs. Howard Wood; and a daughter, born May 5 to Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Bascombe.
