Patrons of Rural High School District 5, Lehigh, will go to the polls July 1 in a special bond election looking toward erection of a new high school building.

Father Vincent Brown, who has served St. Mark Catholic Church in Marion since September 1954, will go to Hutchinson June 10 where he will be pastor of a new parish which he will organize. Appointment was announced the past week by Bishop Mark K. Carroll, Wichita.

The Collett Farms at Marion recently purchased seven purebred Aberdeen-Angus cows from the Hedstrom Farms at Burdick.

Joyce Pientka entertained with a line party to the Kaw Theatre Thursday evening followed by a slumber party at her home. The girls attended the senior breakfast at the lake Friday morning. Joyce's guests were Betty Mathews, Johnsie Just and Delores Schafers.

Charles W. Gutsch, Wichita, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl H. Gutsch, Lincolnville, and a 1948 graduate of MHS, will receive his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Wichita June 2. He is employed as an accountant for Jennings, Inc. at Wichita.

Master Sgt. Ben Province, who has spent the past year in Iceland and his wife and two sons, who have been living in Sherman, Texas, during his absence, are visiting this week at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.A. Province.

Pictured in this issue is the 1957 graduating class of Lincolnville High School. Graduates include John Smith, Lyle Krause, Kenneth Krause, Barbara Spachek, Barbara Czarnowsky, Connie Riffel, Patsy Haefner, and Mary Ann Sill.

Coach Floyd Yaussi of Marion High School has been named an award winner and member of Bike Web Century Club for his record of 100 victories in basketball. The honorary organization is open to any college or high school coach whose athletic teams have won 100 or more contests in any sport.
