Halloween pranksters last Saturday night brought a "New Look" in Marion's Main Street. The familiar Chick Sale with outdoor plumbing facilities was installed at the corner of Third and Main. It remained in place until Sunday evening when a number of the boys thought Hillsboro needed it worse than Marion did and transferred it to a new location on the streets of our neighboring city to the west.

Virgil Weber was the winner of the first prize, $50, on Cash Wednesday in Marion this week. Mrs. Ora Kelsey was the only other winner this week. She received fifth prize of $5. The names of Mrs. Lewis Carpenter, Florence, Louise Weathers, Antelope, and Sylvin Holub were called but none of them were present to receive their awards.

The following girls were invited: Nila Hoopes, Etta Mae Rempel, Janet Priddle, Elsie Smith, Pat DeWitt, Pat Heart, Judy Cogdill, Carolyn Merrill and Anita Kline.
