Plans are being completed to open a John Deere agency store, shop and display lot in Marion by February 1, it was announced this week by Gene Raffety, who will own and manage the local agency.

S/Sgt. W.H. Fulkerson, mechanical gunner aboard a B-24, has been missing over Germany since Nov. 26.

The triplets born to Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Winter December 14 are now at home with their parents. Gary was taken home from the Marion hospital Thursday and Larry followed him on Monday. Harry had preceded them on January 9. All the boys now weigh more than five pounds and are strong and thriving, Dr. R.R. Melton, attending physician, reports.

Richardson's Grocery was robbed Monday night of more than $70 in cash taken from the safe and cigars. Entry was made through the rest room which is used jointly by the Marion Pharmacy and the grocery store.

Mrs. Ed Navrat, assisted by her sister, Mrs. Nyle Heller, entertained Saturday afternoon for her little daughter, Kay, who was celebrating her seventh birthday. The children played Bingo and put together picture puzzles after which they were served refreshments accompanied by candy favors. Little guests included Janice Hayward, Peggy Hayward, Jackie Ford, Nancy Keazer, Jeanette Russell, Vicki Black, Carmen Siebert, Carolyn Merrill, Judy Coons, and Billy Herbert.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Stebbins are moving their house from Antelope to the lot which they own across from Brooks Grocery store. They are occupying a rental property on Fourth Street until the house is placed.

Cases of undulant fever in Marion County numbered 25, Dr. O.C. McCandless, county health officer reports, a new peak for the county. Half of the number were reported during the first three months of the year.
