About 45 members of the senior class of Marion High School met Friday evening at the high school to begin a scavenger hunt which eventually led them to the place of the planned party, the Country Club. Members who planned the party included Dorene Stenzel, Leona Vinduska, Ilene Pierce, Virginia Hobson, Keith Kelsey, Jim Hett, Leo Hayen, and Bob Wiebe.

Janet Lee Holub's ninth birthday was celebrated Tuesday evening with a party at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Holub. The following children were guests: Diana and Billy Jean Herbert, Charlene Youk, Nancy Faye Allen, Patricia Ann Dixon, Jeannine Williamson, Carol Ann Hett, Pearl Seibel, Joy Ann Burnett, Caroline Merrill, and Judy Coons.

Girls, who met Jan. 25 at the home of Janice Socolofsky, changed the name of their club from S.D.C. to P.U.G. Members drew names for heart sisters and decided to have a valentine party.

H.C. Post made his solo flight Saturday in El Dorado. Of the Marion students taking flying instructions from Mrs. Byrd Farrell, Post is the second to solo. Harry Harris is the first.

Marjorie King and Ella Meier were Thursday evening supper guests at the John Wheeler home. Afterward, Miss King, Mrs. Wheeler, Suzanne and Ella went to Cedar Point with a group of Marion folks to appear on the program at a community meeting.

Joyce Ashcraft and Luetta Bartel of Hillsboro and Jesse Uphoff of Peabody, who were attending the 4-H meeting in Marion Saturday, toured the Record-Review printing plant.
