Zogi, who worked with Houdini, and his company are coming to Marion Monday to appear at the city building at 8 p.m. under the sponsorship of the Kiwanis Club. In a special exhibition at 4 p.m., Zogi, blindfolded, will drive a Ford car provided by Newcomer and Gound down Marion's Main Street.

Nobody had a better time Old Settlers' Day than some of the earliest residents of Marion County still living at the time. Included were the following with their names, addresses and date of arrival in the county: J.C. Riggs, Florence, 1865; Mrs. Addie Hoffman, Marion, 1870; Mrs. Gordon Applegate, Ramona, 1870; J.L. Jones, Marion, 1869; A.W. Blackmur, Peabody, 1872; Mrs. Green Stovall, Peabody, 1881; Chris Pritz, Lincolnville, 1867; Mrs. Emily Lehmann, Marion, 1872; J.W. Sampson, Strong City, 1869; Fred Schambron, Peabody, 1872; and Green Stovall, 1881.

Mr. and Mrs. Dave Weathers and family of Winfield moved to Antelope on Tuesday. Mr. Weathers is employed by Slussers of Marion. Their two daughters, LaVona, in the sixth grade, and Helen Louise, in the second grade, bring the Antelope school enrollment up to 10.

Mrs. Roland Stenzel and Mrs. Jake Stenzel were among the lucky ones to get tickets for "Ladies Be Seated," the network radio show with Johnny Olsen, Monday afternoon at the Forum in Wichita. Over 4,000 women and a mere handful of men were packed in the Forum. It was a riot of fun and many and magnificent were the prizes won.

Ronald Hett is working on the house on his place in the Sunflower community. The west end had to be taken down and rebuilt. The walls had stood since 1882. The sides and east walls were in good shape, confirming that the stone mason who built them knew his business. Ronald expects to build on to the south of the main house.

Fred Schimpf and his son, George, are remodeling the upper floor of the business building on Main Street recently purchased from Freeland Bros. They are making a five-room apartment which the family will occupy. The lower floor will be used for drilling and water supply tools.
