The issue of the appointment of a city administrator has dragged on for too long. And, the longer it takes, the more divided this community gets.
We put our trust in you to make difficult, and sometimes unpopular decisions for the good of the community.
Recent elections have shown that Marion is ready for change. You have been chosen to implement those changes.
You have a difficult decision before you right now. The message from the public is clear. We are ready for change. We are ready for you to exhibit those leadership qualities that got you elected.
Don't let yourselves (or this town) be swayed by blackmail tactics and innuendoes. Just because the biggest bully on the playground has the biggest fists doesn't mean he always wins.
Show some courage. Listen to your constituents. Make the right decision.
