Accidents

The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:

Ronald W. Gabe, 51, 503 South 5th, Herington, pulled into a parking lot at Agri Producers Inc. at 6:15 p.m. Oct. 16. Chandra M. Stuchlik, 47, 2664 300th, Lincolnville, backed into Gabe's 2005 Chevrolet van, registered to Renzenberger Inc., Shawnee. Stuchlik's 1996 Ford Ranger is registered to John Stuchlik of the home. Deputy Josh Whitwell states no one was injured.

Donald J. Richmond, 45, 400 South 4th, Marion, was eastbound on U.S.-56 just east of Old Mill at 7:55 a.m. Oct. 15. A deer entered the roadway from the south ditch and was struck by Richmond's 2003 Chevrolet S-10. Richmond was not injured, reports Deputy Whitwell.

Deborah L. Bowman, 49, 17 Lois Lane, Marion, was parked on the north side of Main Street at Second Street at 6:12 p.m. Oct. 13. Kyle J. Fahey, 34, 303 Willards, Marion, was eastbound on Main Street, turning north onto Second Street. Bowman, driving a 2001 Pontiac Bonneville, backed from a parking space and struck the left rear tire of Fahey's 2000 International. Fahey's vehicle is registered to Lampton Welding Supply, McPherson. Kenneth J. Bowman, of the home, is the registered owner of Bowman's vehicle. Deputy Larry Starkey reports there were no injuries.

Paula D. Jost, 42, 1653 Falcon, Hillsboro, was southbound on K-15 just north of 120th at 7:40 a.m. Sept. 26. Jost, driving a 1991 Ford Explorer, fell asleep and entered the west ditch. Jost was taken by private vehicle to Newton Medical Center, reports Undersheriff Randal Brazil.

Leonard M. Holub, 56, 2004 230th, Marion, was northbound on Quail Creek just south of 320th at 4 p.m. Sept. 27. A dog crossing the roadway was struck by Holub's 2001 Kawasaki motorcycle. The dog belonged to Ron Davis, 3275 Quail Creek, Ramona. Holub was taken by Tampa Ambulance to St. Luke Hospital, Marion, reports Undersheriff Brazil.

Amy M. Reagan, 25, 1106 Northwest 160th, Burns, was southbound on U.S.-77 just south of 90th at 7:32 p.m. Oct. 21. A deer came from the east ditch and was struck by Reagan's 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser. Cherokee Reagan, 7, of the home, was a passenger in the vehicle. Deputy Starkey states the Reagans were not injured.

Tess Marie Beckman, 19, Oakley, was southbound on U.S.-56 just north 280th at 7:15 p.m. Oct. 21. Beckman's 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix struck a deer that entered the roadway from the ditch. The vehicle is registered to Brenda Beckman, of the home. Beckman was not injured, reports Deputy Whitwell.
