Accidents
The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:
Shelly Lynn Barnes, 26, 574 350th, Tampa, was southbound on Diamond just north of 250th at 10:40 a.m. March 13. Barnes swerved the 2000 Isuzu she was driving to miss another vehicle, entered the ditch, and rolled the vehicle at least three times, ending on its side. The vehicle is registered to Tamara S. Dresser of the home. Tayton A. Dresser, 3, of the home was a passenger in the vehicle. Barnes and Dresser were injured but did not required transport, states Deputy James Philpott.
A 1994 Ford Thunderbird driven by Crystal D. Wilson, 33, 126 Forest, Marion, was backing from a parking stall at 4 p.m. March 19 at Carlsons' Grocery, 1121 E. Main Street, Marion, when it struck a 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse driven by Christopher J. Loving, 31, 502 N. Cedar Street, Marion, that was stopped. Marion Police Officer Howard Kahler reported there were no injuries.
