The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:

Christopher N. Hamm, 27, 110 North Cedar, Hillsboro, was northbound on Indigo just south of 140th at 11:15 p.m. June 9. A deer crossed the roadway and was struck by Hamm's 1996 GMC. Chief of Police Dan Kinning of Hillsboro reports Hamm was not injured.

Heidi N. Zogelman, 19, Topeka, was northbound on Yarrow just north of 150th at 7:20 a.m. June 10. Driving a 1998 Ford Escort, she entered a curve with potholes and water. She lost control of the vehicle, entered a side skid, and slid off the roadway into the west ditch hitting a sign and fence. The fence is property of Rex Siebert, 1667 190th, Marion. Deputy Rollin Schmidt reports Zogelman was not injured.

Jon M. Sward, 61, Emporia, was westbound on U.S.-50 just east of U.S.-77 at 9:15 p.m. June 4 when a deer came from the north ditch and was struck by Sward's 2003 Ford Taurus. Connie Simmons, 55, Wichita, was a passenger in the vehicle. No injuries were reported, states Undersheriff Randal Brazil.

James P. Smalley, 69, 1746 Upland Road, Marion, was westbound on 120th just west of Falcon at 10:16 a.m. June 8. Smalley, driving a 2000 International dump truck, pulled to the north side of the road and raised the bed to dump which caused the vehicle to be top heavy. The vehicle rolled onto its right side in the north ditch. Damage was done to a wheat crop owned by Rod Peters, 1349 Goldenrod, Hillsboro. The vehicle is property of Marion County. Smalley was taken by Hillsboro Ambulance to St. Luke Hospital, Marion, reports Deputy Schmidt.

Christopher A. Oliva, 15, 1283 Indigo, Hillsboro, was eastbound on U.S.-56 at Nighthawk at 1:26 p.m. June 3. Bernard J. Meyer, 21, St. Joseph, Mo., also was eastbound following Oliva's 1987 Buick LeSabre. Oliva signaled for a left turn. Meyer began passing Oliva in the right passing lane. Oliva made a right turn instead of left and struck Meyer's 1997 Ford F350 in the left side. Oliva's vehicle is registered to Wanda Hein, of the home. Passengers were Zachary D. Peterson, 14, and Timothy A. Atwell, 16, also of the home. Passenger in the Meyer vehicle was Blake Kearny, 21, Cummings. Deputy Schmidt states no one was injured.

Sally B. Silas, 52, 271 350th, Tampa, was southbound on Bison just south of 340th at 10:15 a.m. June 3. Silas, driving a 1996 GMC pickup, started to go through water running over the roadway. She decided not to go further and started to back up. The vehicle was washed off the roadway into the east ditch. Callie A. Lamon, 6, of the home, was a passenger. Marion County EMS (Tampa) treated Silas and Lamon, but did not transport, reports Deputy Mike Vineski.

Diane K. Carpenter, 42, 2282 Sunrise, Marion, was southbound on Sunrise just north of U.S.-56 at 7:44 a.m. June 6. Carpenter lost control of her 2000 Ford Explorer and slid sideways. The vehicle entered the east ditch and rolled one and one-half times. Carpenter was taken by Marion County EMS (Marion) to St. Luke Hospital, reports Deputy Vineski.

Stephanie D. Moss, 37, 301 South Lincoln, Hillsboro, was backing out in the Ebenfeld Church parking lot at 1498 Kanza at 12:05 p.m. June 5. Moss backed into a 1995 Buick LeSabre owned and occupied by Raymond R. Just, 76, 1267 140th, Hillsboro. The accident was not reported until after both vehicles had been driven home. Passengers reported in the Moss vehicle were Kalen Moss, 7, Samantha Moss, 5, Tucker Moss, 4, and Zaida Chapman, 5, all of the home. Marjory L. Just, 72, of the home, was a passenger in the Just vehicle. No injuries were reported, states Deputy Vineski
