Amber E. Dean, 18, 312 N. D Street, Ramona, was westbound on 360th Road near Upland in a 2000 Dodge passenger car at 3:40 p.m. Nov. 10, when the driver lost control on loose gravel on the shoulder and struck a 1986 Nissan 300 driven by Gereld Adams, 22, Newton. The Dodge was registered to Andrew Brown, of the same address as the driver. The Nissan was registered to Jessie Naerebout, 21, of the same address as the driver, who also was a passenger in the Nissan, reported Marion County Sheriff Deputy Matt Vogt. Dean was transported by Tampa EMS to Herington Municipal Hospital. Adams and Naerebout had possible injuries but were not transported. There was no damage estimate indicated on the report.

Tina L. Groening, 34, 2323 U.S.-56/77, Marion, was backing from a parking stall in the 600 block of North Ash Street, Hillsboro, in a 1997 Dodge Ram pickup at 5:50 p.m. Dec. 5, and struck a parked vehicle, a 2001 Ford Taurus, owned by James A. Druse, 313 N. Walnut, Marion. Hillsboro Police Officer Steven Janzen was the investigating officer. Since the accident occurred on private property, there was no damage estimate listed.

Nicholas W. Carlson, 15, 214 S. Kennedy, Hillsboro, was eastbound on Second Street near Birch, Hillsboro, in a 2001 Ford Explorer at 4:25 p.m. Dec. 12, when the driver lost control, crossed the roadway, and struck utility poles on the north side of the street. Passengers were Nichole Carlson, 16, of the same address, Diane Sanders, 15, 106 N. Wilson, Hillsboro, and Patricia Pankratz, 15, 604 W. Grand, Hillsboro. The vehicle was registered to Richard and Michelle Carlson, of the same address. There were no injuries and more than $1,000 in damages, reported Hillsboro Police Chief Dan Kinning.

Rebecca J. Yoder, 48, 1259 E. 90th Road, Peabody, was westbound on 90th Road near Limestone in a 2002 Chrysler van at 6:15 p.m. Dec. 12, when a deer came from a north ditch and was struck. Deputy Vogt reported that the driver was not injured and there was more than $1,000 in damages.

Carolyn S. Ray, 58, 404 S. Washington, #3, Hillsboro, was parking along a curb at F and Main streets, Hillsboro, in a 2000 Buick passenger car at 6:45 a.m. Dec. 14, when her vehicle struck the rear of a vehicle that was leaving a parking stall. The driver of the second vehicle left the scene with no damage prior to notification. There were no injuries and more than $1,000 in damages, reported Hillsboro Assistant Police Chief Jessey Hiebert.

Jessica L. Bernhardt, 19, 129 S. Cedar, Marion, was westbound on U.S.-56 just west of K-15 in a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am at 5:42 p.m. Dec. 14, when the driver lost control on the snow-packed highway, and slid backward into a truck with a snow plow. The truck was driven by Junior D. Hines, 65, Galva, and owned by Kansas Department of Transportation, McPherson. Tyson S. Heidebrecht, 20, 112 Elm, Marion, was a passenger in the Pontiac. Marion County Undersheriff Randal Brazil reported that Bernhardt and Heidebrecht were injured and transported by Hillsboro EMS to Hillsboro Community Medical Center. Hines was not injured. There was no damage estimate listed on the report.

Dennis L. Brucker, 68, Galva, was southbound on K-15 near 140th Road in a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier at 12:30 p.m. Dec. 15, and hit a patch of ice. The vehicle went onto the east shoulder and then the west ditch, striking a sign post. There were no injuries and more than $1,000 in damages, reported Marion County Sheriff Deputy Duane McCarty.

Syamanta Saikia, 25, Wichita, was northbound on Indigo Road near 140th in a 1999 Ford Taurus at 5:05 p.m. Dec. 15, when the vehicle reportedly slid on ice and went into a west ditch. The vehicle was registered to Monday Akintui, Wichita. Marion County Sheriff Deputy Larry Starkey said there were no injuries and less than $1,000 in damages.

Brad D. Cole, 42, 1560 320th Road, Tampa, was eastbound on 310th Road near Mustang in a 1995 Chevrolet S-10 pickup at 10 a.m. Dec. 17, when the driver lost control and entered a south ditch. The driver was not injured and there was more than $1,000 in damages, reported Marion County Sheriff Deputy Jim Philpott.

Judith E. Morris, 63, Wichita, was northbound on Arch Street near Washington, Burns, in a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am at 9:45 a.m. Dec. 19, when it was struck by a 1995 International truck driven by Glenn A. Langenegger, 53, Route 1, Burns. The Pontiac was registered to Tracie Mitchell, Wichita. The truck was registered to Langenegger Brothers Inc., Route 1, Box 107, Burns. Deputy McCarty reported there were no injuries and more than $1,000 in damages.

Amanda C. Ostmeyer, 28, 656 Timber, Peabody, was eastbound on 60th Road near Old Mill in a 2000 Chrysler passenger car at 6:20 p.m. Dec. 19, when it went into a ditch, hit a field entrance, continued in the ditch, and struck an embankment. Passengers in the vehicle were Isabella Ostmeyer, 3, and Jordan Ostmeyer, 5, both of the same address as the driver. The vehicle was registered to Jeffrey R. Ostmeyer, of the same address. There were no injuries and more than $1,000 in damages, reported Deputy Starkey.
