Accidents reported

The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:

William W. Braden, 42, Salina, was southbound on Indigo just north of 90th at 10:32 a.m. Jan. 4. Braden's 1978 International, registered to George Goracke, New Cambria, entered a patch of icy roadway causing the trailer to jackknife. The vehicle slid into the east ditch. Deputy Rollin Schmidt states Braden was not injured.

Esther McClave, 47, Overland Park, was eastbound on U.S.-56 just west of Sunrise at 8:42 p.m. Jan. 2. McClave's 2001 Dodge Durango spun out on the icy surface and hit the south side of the bridge railing. McClave was not injured, reports Sergeant Jeff Soyez.

Andrew J. Knight, 20, Wichita, was northbound on U.S.-56 just south of 240th at 3 a.m. Dec. 4. Knight lost control of the 1989 Honda Accord he was driving and rolled into the west ditch. The accident was alcohol related. The vehicle is registered to Kathryn A. Knight, of the home. Sergeant Soyez states Knight was not injured.
