Ginger M. Garcia, 49, 210 W. Eighth Street, Florence, was southbound on U.S.-77 near 140th in a 2003 Ford at 6 p.m. Jan. 14, when a deer came from a west ditch and was struck. Marion County Sheriff Deputy Matt Vogt reported the driver was not injured and there was more than $1,000 in damages.

Douglas E. Moore, 32, Abilene, was southbound on Jade Road at 190th in 2007 Honda Civic at 5:25 p.m. Jan. 16, when his vehicle slid through the intersection because the roadway was icy, and struck a ditch. There were no injuries and less than $1,000 in damages, reported Marion County Undersheriff Randal Brazil.

Derek M. Walker, 26, El Dorado, was northbound on U.S.-56/77 near 250th in a 1993 Chevrolet Silverado at 1:40 a.m. Jan. 17, when he lost control on the icy roadway and struck a bridge. The pickup was registered to Larry Bearden of the same address. The report indicated the driver was ejected but not injured and there was more than $1,000 in damages. Undersheriff Brazil investigated the accident.

Donald R. Roller, 48, Kinsley, was westbound on U.S.-50 near milemarker 304 in a 2007 Kenworth truck at 7:45 p.m. Jan. 16, when a vehicle came into his lane and struck the left side of the truck's cab. The second vehicle did not stop and continued going east. The truck was registered to T-Bone Company of Ottawa. The driver was injured but the report did not indicate that he was transported to a hospital. Marion County Sheriff Deputy Duane McCarty reported there was more than $1,000 in damages.
