Accidents reported
The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:
Whitney N. Allen, 19, 107 S. Jefferson, Hillsboro, was northbound on B Street near Madison, Hillsboro, in a 1993 Ford Mustang at 7:45 p.m. Feb. 18, and failed to yield to a 2008 Daewood Leganza driven by Jessica K. Smith, 23, 206 S. Ash, Hillsboro, who was westbound. The Smith vehicle was registered to Judy K. Bickford of Ramona. Hillsboro Police Office Steven Janzen reported there were no injuries and more than $1,000 in damages.
A 2001 Cadillac, owned by Shirley A. Reusser, 1883 Falcon, Hillsboro, was parked on Grand Street near Madison, Hillsboro, at 10 p.m. Feb. 24, and was struck in the rear by an unknown vehicle. The damage was estimated at less than $1,000, reported Officer Janzen.
