Accidents reported
The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:
Steven A. Roberts II, 24, Junction City, was eastbound on 290th near Yarrow in a 1995 Chevrolet Beretta at 2 a.m. March 3, when he lost control of the vehicle, entered a north ditch, struck a fence, and broke some posts. Marion County Sheriff Deputy Jim Philpott reported there were no injuries and the accident was reported at 9:30 a.m. March 3.
Miguel V. Ramirez, 43, Wichita, was northbound on Nighthawk near 190th in a 1993 Mitsubishi van at 6:50 a.m. March 28, when a deer came from an east ditch onto the roadway and was struck. There were no injuries and more than $1,000 in damages, reported Marion County Undersheriff Randal Brazil.
