Accidents reported

The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:

Jerry V. Gantenbein, 52, Abilene, was northbound traveling through the intersection of Third and Roosevelt streets on Roosevelt in Tampa at 4:35 p.m. April 26. Nicholas C. Salamone, 7, 325 West Third, Tampa was eastbound on Third Street on a bicycle. Salamone rode in front of the 2004 Dodge pickup Gantenbein was driving and was struck. He was taken by Tampa Ambulance/Lifeteam Medivac to Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. Gantenbein's vehicle is registered to Agri Producers Inc., 205 Main, Tampa.

John G. Hollingsworth, 73, Wichita, was southbound on K-15 just south of 90th at 12:10 p.m. July 4. Hollingsworth fell asleep and his 2001 Chrysler Concord drifted into the northbound land into the path of Jessica S. Graber, 19, Newton. Graber drove her 1994 Ford Mustang into the ditch to avoid an accident. Andrew J. Werger, 20, of Nebraska, was a passenger in the Graber vehicle. Deputy Aaron Waddell reports there were no injuries.

Terri Thompson, 32, 501 North D, Ramona, was northbound on Kanza just north of 250th at 6:36 a.m. Aug. 28. A deer ran into the path of Thompson's 1993 Geo Metro and was struck. Thompson was not injured, reports Deputy Waddell.
