Accidents reported
The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:
Konley L. Harding, 16, Burdick, was stopped at a stop sign at U.S.56/77 at 310th Road in a 1991 Nissan Sentra at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 14, and was looking back at another vehicle behind him. The driver did not realize that a semi had not driven through the intersection and drove under the trailer of the northbound 1998 Volvo semi driven by Dale E. Hennigh Jr., 36, Westmoreland. The Nissan was registered to Kelsey Harding of the same address. The semi was owned by Hiland Dairy Foods Co. LLC of Springfield, Mo. Marion County Sheriff Lee Becker reported there were no injuries and more than $1,000 in damages.
