Accidents reported

The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:

Robyn R. Kukuk, 17, 1772 250th, Marion, was northbound on Sunflower just south of 240th at 5:55 p.m. Sept. 25. Kukuk lost control of the 1999 Dodge Stratus she was driving and entered the west ditch. The vehicle overturned. Alyssa P. Seacat, 15, 8 Valley Road, Marion, and Toni J. Gordon, 16, 1748 Upland Road, Marion, were passengers in the vehicle. The driver and passengers were transported by Marion Ambulance to St. Luke Hospital. The vehicle is registered to Larry Kukuk of the home. The vehicle overturned in a field belonging to David Oborny, 2451 Upland, Marion, reports Deputy Josh Whitwell.

Aaron L. Waddell, 29, 117 N. Locust, Marion was westbound on 280th just east of Alfalfa at 2:19 a.m. Sept. 22 when a coyote ran from the south ditch and hit the 2001 Ford Crown Victoria Waddell was driving. Waddell was not injured. The vehicle is property of Marion County Sheriff's Office, 203 South 3rd, Marion.

Lee M. Becker, 41, 216 E. 6th, Lincolnville, was westbound on 290th just east of Remington at 6:15 a.m. June 23. An unknown animal entered the roadway from the south ditch. Becker steered his 2002 Ford F-150 into the north ditch to avoid the animal. The vehicle struck a concrete box culvert and rolled on its right side. Becker was not injured, reports Deputy Schmidt.
