Accidents reported

The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:

Troy A. Kahn, 17, 605 E. A Street, Hillsboro, was westbound on 190th Road near Falcon in a 1992 Chevrolet pickup at 9:15 p.m. Oct. 21, when a deer came from a north ditch and was struck. The pickup was registered to Susan Kahn of the same address. Marion County Sheriff Deputy Larry Starkey reported there were no injuries and more than $1,000 in damages.

Virgil R. Davis, 46, Hesston, was southbound on K-15 near 190th Road in a 2005 Chevrolet at 9 p.m. Oct. 25, when his vehicle struck a cow that was standing in the roadway. Passengers in the vehicle were Dave Armstrong, 36, Riley Armstrong, 10, and Shawn Davis, 12. No addresses were listed on the report. There were no injuries and more than $1,000 in damages, reported Marion County Sheriff Deputy Duane McCarty.

Nicholas Ryan Allbritton, 19, Junction City, was northbound on U.S.-56 near 280th Road in a 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser at 6:10 p.m. Oct. 27, when his vehicle entered the west side of the roadway, crossing the southbound lane, came back onto the roadway in the southbound lane, sliding sideways, and struck the driver's side of a 2002 Chevrolet truck driven by Raymond L. Morris, 41, Salina. The Chrysler then landed 110 feet east of the area of impact. The driver of the Chrysler and a passenger, Michael Paul McGowen, 19, Junction City, were transported to St. Luke Hospital, Marion. The driver of the truck had a possible injury but was not transported, reported Kansas Highway Patrol.
